The SkyWatcher SW450 114mm Telescope is the beginner instrument for those wishing to learn equatorial alignment and tracking. Paired with a single axis motor drive once properly aligned the SW450 will stay on subject with little effort from the user. 


It's paraboloidal (parabolic) mirror, like all Newtonian models, feature a four-arm, secondary-mirror bracket with fine supports (0.5mm thick), to reduce diffraction spikes and light loss.

This telescope also comes with a motor drive. The addition of the motor drive feature allows you to easily manoeuvre your telescope using a remote control. This gives greater accuracy in following stars compared to using manual movements.
